The great oatmeal
When I start make granola the first time I just surprised,it was so crunchy and tasty ,i thought it is just a snacks items but later i realised it is not only a snack but also one of the best breakfast in the world.in my previous restaurant we made musli.but the musli almost same as granola because it's included oat,nuts and dry fruits but it looks like non cooked oat like this
So I plan to discuss about the granola today.
I try some different type of granola like oat with egg white and without egg ,and savoury granola and dry tropical fruits granola as well.
Here just going to discuss normal one with the health benefits and defect..
The ingredients
Oats 400gm
Nuts as you like 60gm
Pumpkin seeds 50gm
Coconut flax 40 gm
Raisins 15 gm
Coconut oil 50 ml
Vanilla essence 1tsp
Salt for taste
Honey 100 gm
These are the ingredients now we can go for mixing
First collect all the dry ingredients
Then liquid ingredients
Mix the dry items then add the lequid items in it then mix well ,be careful if your give extra hard press the oats become powder.
Preheat the oven 160 to 170 with fan .
Place a baking tray with parchment paper or cyliecone sheet., spread nicely,(make sure it hase space for cook.then directly place to oven for 10 minutes after that take out mix and spread again,bake again for 10 minutes check now if it is golden brown color,remove and let it cool.if not repeat the process 5 minutes each..
Now granola ready!!!
Store in a tight container for a good result 1 week is good enough.
You can serve it with fruits yogurt milk etc
Next we can go for another one...
